Achievements guide

Linear achievements

Beginner, Competent, Proficient, Advanced and Expert:

Not much to discuss here. You need to play the adventure levels and progress to unlock various game modes to get these achievements.

Let There Be Light

It is very simple. You just need to press and hold 'MysteryMatrix' logo (Bulb) for five seconds to switch between Dark theme and Light theme.

Worst-case scenario

This is too is very simple, you just need to understand the scoring system. These steps will make sure that you get the minimum possible score of 30.

Play a game with difficulty level 1.
Use hint.
Wait for at least 30 seconds after 1st guess (no time bonus)
Get the correct answer on last guess (8th guess - no guess bonus).

Nail-biting Finish

You need to unlock Time Bound mode for this achievement.

Play a Time Bound game preferably with difficulty level 1.
Figure out the answer and input it in guessboxes, but do not submit it.
Wait for timer to show 1 and immediately submit the answer.

Automatically Lucky

You need to unlock Autoguess mode for this achievement. You also need bit of luck for this achievement.

Play Autoguess game with difficulty level 1.
Just keep on restarting the game till you win the game with an autoguess.

Guess Miser

You need to preferably unlock difficulty level 9 for this achievement. Level 9 difficulty game has guess limit of 16 guesses. Hence, you would still have 8 guesses to finish this game. There are no short cuts for this achievement and requires mastery over the game.

Sometimes you can luck out and get this achievement easily too.

Lightning Fast

You need to preferably unlock difficulty level 9 for this achievement. Level 9 difficulty Time Bound game have time limit of 90 seconds. Hence, you would still have 30 seconds to finish this game. There are no short cuts for this achievement and requires mastery over the game.

Legends of Legends

Again, not much to discuss here. This is pure skill based achievement. Just win Legend mode game with difficulty level 9.

Super achiever

This is again a skill based achievement. You probably need to have Legend mode / Morph levels unlocked.

One approach is:

Select Hide history (2x multiplier)
Select Timed mode (2x multiplier)
Select Legend mode (5x multiplier)
Select difficulty level 9

and try to achieve base score of atleast 1,750.

Six Appeal

This achievement requires both luck and skill:

You need to complete Adventure levels to unlock Morph levels.
You need to restart Morph levels till you get a game with five character answer.
You need to play till morph event happens.
This part is luck based. One of the morph event is where 'One of the characters in the answer is added to the end of the answer'.
Now the answer has six characters.
Just guess it 😅.

Hole in One

This is pure luck based achievement. You just have to keep on playing difficulty level 1 games regularly and hope that you guess the answer is first guess.
